The Surface Wettability Measurement project helps researchers and engineers to improve the accuracy of surface wettability measurement. It started with improving the contact point detection algorithm and the contact angle measurement algorithm. Then we studied more complex scenarios for measuring surface wettabilities. To understand surface wettability in dynamic cases, it is common practice to measure advancing and receding contact angles, also known as ARCA. We implemented the new measurement technique in this scenario. The project was done in collaboration with the University of Tokyo and McGill University.
